THE EXHAUSTION EPIDEMIC: HOW TO TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH
There is an epidemic in women’s health and it may not be what you think…
Many of the women who seek care at Health Over All are at a breaking point. There is usually a specific health concern that gets them in the door, maybe hot flashes, or heavy periods, thyroid issues or low libido; but when we start to peel the onion to find out exactly what is wrong and how they got there we find the same thing time and time again – they are exhausted, over-worked and over-scheduled. They are disillusioned, discontented, hopeless, and feeling isolated.
BUT, how did they get there?
I see women in my practice every day doing things for all of the people, except themselves. But, when women are too busy taking care of everyone else they lose themselves. They become tired, overwhelmed and burnt out. They forget about what drives them and what makes them happy. And when women are not healthy and happy, everyone suffers.
Part of the problem is that they don’t know how to get out of this pattern. They often feel like they are the only ones feeling this way. That perhaps there is something wrong with them.
If you have been feeling like this YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE!
You do not have to take this on alone either.
At Health Over All, it is our mission to bring women together. To help women reclaim their lives, their pleasure and their health. To help keep you consistent, to connect with what is important. But we have recognized that it takes a village, a community, to get women back into their passion and their health.
Research tells us that when we have connections to others we are less likely to suffer from poor health. If we are part of a community we are more apt to take action, to work toward getting better together.
Women need support. Let us support you.
